ABOUT HYSTERIA
Premier North East Rave event running out of Powerhouse Newcastle! Established in 2014 by Dj Ollie B and Dj Double D, Hysteria was based at NE6 in Walker and gave the North East ravers an old school raving club experience. As the event grew in statue and numbers, it eventually outgrew NE6 and made the move to Digital in late 2019 where it continued to thrive. In 2023 the ownership changed hands between friends and Dj Major, Dj Frostie & Mc Scotty Jay took over the reigns with big shoes to fill. The brand continued to flourish, offering the North East raver's the biggest Djs and Mcs from the scene plus Special Guests from all over Europe. In 2025, in order to keep progressing and to give the ravers the ultimate experience, the decision was made to relocate to Powerhouse. The event has continued to thrive in the new venue and offers the best talent from the UK & further afield across 2 rooms. In addition to the Hysteria events, the promoters also organise a 'makina' tent at the prestigious Clubland on the Sea event in Hartlepool once a year.
